Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Inspect rooms and common areas to verify that they are cleaned and maintained according to established standards.
- Train, mentor, and lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring they are well-versed in best practices, safety protocols, and guest service excellence.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the front office and maintenance teams to address any issues related to room readiness or guest satisfaction.
- Implement and monitor hygiene and sanitation standards in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, including occupancy rates, staff performance, and supply usage.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, to meet operational demands.
- Fluency in English; additional languages, particularly Indonesian or other regional languages, are a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Diploma or certification in Hospitality Management or a related field is advantageous.
