Responsibility
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, while managing expectations and mitigating risks.
- Oversee the technical design and implementation of healthcare solutions, including EHR/EMR systems, data analytics platforms, and interoperability frameworks.
- Provide expert guidance on healthcare IT best practices, compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR), and emerging technologies.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization.
- Conduct regular progress reviews, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units, translating complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL) is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in healthcare project management, with a focus on technical implementations.
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale healthcare IT projects, including EHR/EMR systems, data migration, and system integrations.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop innovative solutions.
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment, with a focus on delivering results in a global setting.
