As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our visual identity, working on diverse projects ranging from corporate communications and marketing campaigns to digital assets and internal presentations. You'll mentor junior designers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall creative strategy, ensuring all outputs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also strategically aligned with our business objectives. Responsibility
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of high-impact visual materials across digital and print platforms, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, communications, and other internal teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines, ensuring all visual assets reflect Jacobs' global identity and professional standards.
- Mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior designers, fostering their growth and ensuring project quality.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance design processes and outputs.
- Oversee the production of final designs, ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper formatting for various media.
- Contribute to the strategic development of visual communication initiatives and participate in creative brainstorms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive professional experience in graphic design, preferably within a corporate, agency, or engineering/professional services environment.
- An exceptional portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy, with examples of branding, digital, and print design.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential.
- Proven ability to lead design projects from concept through completion and provide creative direction.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
- Experience with motion graphics, web design principles, or UI/UX design is a significant advantage.
