Responsibility
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the architectural department, ensuring all deliverables meet project milestones.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the preparation of comprehensive construction drawings and detailed specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction alignment with approved architectural plans and design intent.
- Collaborate closely with internal project managers, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical design issues.
- Manage the submission process for regulatory approvals, ensuring compliance with local building codes and BCA regulations.
- Review and approve material schedules and shop drawings to maintain quality assurance standards.
- Mentor and guide junior architectural staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Board of Architects (BOA).
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in architectural project management, specifically within the construction sector in Singapore.
- Proficiency in BIM/Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant architectural design software.
- Deep understanding of the Singapore Building Control Act and relevant regulatory submission requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex project schedules.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
