Responsibility
- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best value for the organization.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to inform sourcing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing activities with business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies for supplier-related issues.
- Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in global sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with international teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, sourcing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently in a nightshift schedule and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
