Responsibility
- Design and engineer high-purity and specialty gas systems for semiconductor manufacturing and related facilities.
- Develop and review technical specifications, schematics, and system layouts to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors to deliver gas systems that meet performance, safety, and budgetary requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of gas distribution systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in gas system engineering.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing high-purity or specialty gas systems, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., SEMI, ISO, ASME) and regulatory requirements for gas systems.
- Proven experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools for system design.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Professional certification in gas system engineering or related fields is a plus.
