Responsibility
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage fund accounting operations, including NAV calculations, investor allocations, and capital calls.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth audits and reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers.
- Assist in the preparation of investor reports and respond to investor inquiries.
- Implement and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting fund accounting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and fund structures.
- Experience with financial reporting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
