Responsibility
- Develop and maintain a robust network of suppliers, buyers, and industry contacts to source and trade fuel oil and related petroleum products.
- Analyze market trends, price movements, and supply-demand dynamics to identify profitable trading opportunities.
- Negotiate and execute trades, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Manage risk exposure through hedging strategies, derivatives, and other financial instruments.
- Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Monitor and report on market developments, competitor activities, and trade performance to senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including refineries, traders, and end-users.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, environmental policies, and geopolitical factors affecting the fuel oil market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fuel oil trading, with a proven track record of successful deal execution.
- Strong understanding of global fuel oil markets, pricing mechanisms, and trading strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
