As a Community Relations Officer, you will serve as the bridge between our projects and the communities we serve. Responsibility
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to build trust and foster positive relationships with local stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison between the organization and community members, addressing concerns and facilitating open communication.
- Organize and conduct community meetings, workshops, and outreach programs to gather feedback and promote project transparency.
- Identify and resolve local issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate community feedback into project planning and execution.
- Monitor and report on community sentiment, providing insights to guide decision-making and improve project outcomes.
- Support the development and implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives aligned with community needs.
- Maintain accurate records of community interactions, feedback, and resolutions for documentation and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, or a similar role, preferably in the mining, resources, or energy sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a diplomatic and empathetic approach.
- Familiarity with local cultures, customs, and community dynamics in Bali or similar regions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
- Proficiency in both English and the local language (Bahasa Indonesia) is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel within the specified regions as required by the project.
