Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement FPGA/PLD-based digital circuits for high-performance computing and embedded systems.
- Perform RTL coding, simulation, and verification using industry-standard tools (e.g., Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim).
- Optimize FPGA designs for performance, power efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate FPGA solutions into larger system architectures.
- Conduct thorough validation and debugging of FPGA designs, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
- Document design specifications, test plans, and validation results for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated with emerging FPGA technologies, tools, and best practices to drive innovation.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in FPGA/PLD design and development.
- Proficiency in HDL languages (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog) and FPGA design tools (Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus).
- Strong background in digital logic design, timing analysis, and synthesis optimization.
- Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet) and embedded systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Tcl) for automation and tool integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to work remotely and asynchronously.
