As a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, you will be at the forefront of strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. Your expertise will drive data-driven decisions, optimize resource allocation, and ensure alignment with TransUnionâs global financial objectives. Responsibility
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and scenario analysis.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Sales, HR) to gather inputs and align financial plans with operational targets.
- Drive process improvements in financial planning, automation, and reporting to enhance efficiency.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis for mergers, acquisitions, or new business initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CMA is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and financial modeling tools.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple deadlines.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and reporting standards in the APAC region is a plus.
