Responsibility
- Lead flow assurance studies for subsea and pipeline systems, including steady-state and transient analyses.
- Develop and validate hydraulic models to optimize production system performance and integrity.
- Identify and mitigate flow assurance risks (e.g., hydrate formation, wax deposition, slugging, corrosion).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement cost-effective solutions for field development.
- Provide technical support during FEED, detailed design, and operational phases of projects.
- Conduct sensitivity analyses and recommend system modifications to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Prepare and present technical reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in flow assurance within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM, HYSYS, or PVTsim).
- Strong understanding of multiphase flow, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics in production systems.
- Experience with subsea systems, pipelines, and process facilities design and operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
