Responsibility
- Design, develop, and debug embedded firmware for Lexmark's printing and imaging products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define firmware requirements and specifications.
- Optimize firmware performance, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of firmware to meet industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware-related issues in existing products.
- Document firmware designs, code, and test procedures for future reference.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in embedded systems and firmware development.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming and embedded software development.
- Experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, and hardware-software integration.
- Strong understanding of debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and USB.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
