Responsibility
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning for Coherent’s APAC operations.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions, including ROI analysis, cost-benefit evaluations, and scenario planning.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (R&D, Operations, Sales) to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting key financial insights and recommendations.
- Drive process improvements in financial reporting, automation, and KPI tracking to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify trends to proactively address financial risks and opportunities.
- Support M&A due diligence and integration activities for potential acquisitions or partnerships.
- Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial policies, controls, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA/CPA is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing or technology sectors.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data visualization (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools).
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating across time zones.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia) are advantageous.
