Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with global teams to consolidate financial data and streamline reporting processes.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy across all entities.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure best practices are implemented.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, with a focus on global operations.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and tax compliance regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently in a night shift schedule while meeting tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise with stakeholders across different regions.
- Experience in the property or real estate industry is an advantage.
