Responsibility
- Manage the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and monthly/yearly closings with meticulous accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support data-driven business decisions.
- Conduct bank reconciliations (BRS) and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with operational goals.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Support audit preparations and liaise with external auditors to facilitate smooth audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in full-spectrum accounting, preferably in a multinational or marine/logistics industry.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior team members.
