Responsibility
- Develop and refine facade design concepts, ensuring alignment with architectural intent and project requirements.
- Create detailed shop drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for facade systems.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate facade solutions seamlessly into building designs.
- Select and specify high-performance materials, finishes, and glazing systems that meet aesthetic, durability, and energy efficiency standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers and fabricators to ensure accurate manufacturing, installation, and quality control of facade components.
- Conduct feasibility studies and performance analyses (thermal, structural, acoustic) for facade systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies in facade design and construction.
- Provide technical support during construction phases, resolving on-site challenges and ensuring compliance with design intent.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Masterās degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facade design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with BIM software is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of facade systems (e.g., unitized, stick, double-skin, parametric) and materials (glass, aluminum, steel, composites).
- Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and sustainability certifications (LEED, WELL, etc.).
- Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills, with the ability to produce precise shop drawings.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
