Responsibility
- Oversee and manage all export and import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian and international trade regulations, tariffs, and licensing requirements.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance of goods.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain logistics, reduce costs, and improve delivery timelines.
- Monitor and resolve any discrepancies or delays in shipments, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of all EXIM transactions, including financial reconciliations and audit trails.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure adherence to trade finance and risk management policies.
- Stay updated on changes in trade laws, tariffs, and industry best practices to proactively adjust processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in export-import operations, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or trade industries.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, HS codes, and INCOTERMS.
- Proven experience with trade documentation, customs clearance, and freight forwarding processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, trade compliance software, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Certifications in customs brokerage or international trade (e.g., CCS, CITP) are a plus.
