Responsibility
- Develop and implement space management strategies to optimize the utilization of university facilities.
- Coordinate and oversee renovation and construction projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant execution.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to assess space needs and allocate resources effectively.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of university spaces to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for facility-related services.
- Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, and sustainability standards in all university spaces.
- Prepare and present reports on space utilization, project progress, and budget status to senior management.
- Lead initiatives to integrate smart technologies and sustainable practices into facility management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in space management, project coordination, or facility operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and sustainability standards.
- Experience in managing budgets and negotiating contracts with vendors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
