Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end materials planning and procurement to ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to minimize excess stock and shortages.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to optimize storage, picking, and packing processes for efficient order fulfillment.
- Liaise with logistics providers to negotiate rates, track shipments, and resolve delivery issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Analyze demand forecasts and sales data to align inventory with business needs.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials planning, inventory management, or logistics.
- Proven track record in warehouse coordination and order fulfillment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and customs procedures is advantageous.
