Responsibility
- Oversee and manage financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for innovation and enterprise projects under LKCMedicine.
- Lead procurement processes, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and compliance with university and regulatory policies.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the Office of Innovation & Enterprise.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (faculty, researchers, administrators) and external partners to align financial and operational goals with project objectives.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, audit requirements, and risk management protocols.
- Support the preparation of grant applications, funding proposals, and financial reports for donors, investors, and university leadership.
- Drive process improvements and digital transformation initiatives to modernize administrative workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, procurement, or operations, preferably in higher education, research institutions, or healthcare sectors.
- Proven track record in budgeting, financial analysis, and procurement with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
- Strong understanding of grant management, funding cycles, and financial reporting for research or innovation projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working in multicultural or international environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
