Responsibility
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of outsourced housekeeping vendors to ensure adherence to hospital standards and contractual agreements.
- Conduct regular inspections of hospital facilities to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with healthcare industry standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including nursing, administration, and facilities management, to address housekeeping-related concerns.
- Prepare and present compliance reports, performance metrics, and improvement recommendations to senior management.
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff (direct or indirect) on proper cleaning techniques, infection control, and waste management protocols.
- Investigate and resolve complaints or issues related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay updated on local and international healthcare compliance standards, including JCI (Joint Commission International) and ISO certifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hospital or large-scale facility.
- Proven track record in vendor management, compliance auditing, and performance evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare hygiene standards, infection control practices, and occupational safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with facility management software is a plus.
- Certification in Healthcare Compliance (e.g., CHC, CHE) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) is an advantage.
