Join National University Hospital (NUH) in a pivotal role as a Senior/Executive in Haematology-Oncology Research Administration. Responsibility
- Oversee the administrative and operational aspects of haematology-oncology clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate with principal investigators, research nurses, and data managers to facilitate seamless trial execution, from patient recruitment to data collection and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ICH guidelines, and local regulatory requirements (e.g., Singapore HSA, Indonesian BPOM if applicable).
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for research administration, including documentation, audits, and risk management.
- Liaise with ethics committees, institutional review boards (IRBs), and external stakeholders to secure approvals and address queries.
- Monitor trial progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency and data integrity.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, grant applications, and publications in collaboration with the research team.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff on research methodologies, administrative processes, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in clinical research administration, preferably in haematology-oncology or a related therapeutic area.
- Proven track record of managing Phase I–IV clinical trials, including budgeting, contracting, and regulatory submissions.
- Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and local/regional research regulations (e.g., Singapore’s HSA, Indonesian regulations).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in clinical trial management systems (CTMS), electronic data capture (EDC) tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in Clinical Research (e.g., SOCRA, ACRP) is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus for regional collaboration.
