Responsibility
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely sourcing of materials and services.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain adherence to local and international compliance regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and compliance reports.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the procurement supply chain to safeguard the company’s interests.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service agreements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in procurement and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, compliance, or a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics sector.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Familiarity with local and international trade regulations, including ISO standards and labor laws.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
