Responsibility
- Act as the primary liaison for key clients, addressing logistics-related inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Oversee material handling operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain inventory control systems, ensuring real-time tracking and reporting of stock levels.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to optimize space utilization, picking, and packing processes.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for material handling to enhance productivity and safety.
- Prepare and present logistics reports to clients and internal stakeholders, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, transportation) to ensure end-to-end supply chain efficiency.
- Resolve logistical challenges proactively, minimizing delays and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or logistics coordination.
- Proven track record in client-facing roles, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) and material handling equipment.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and logistics software.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are advantageous.
