Responsibility
- Manage and process a portfolio of insurance claims in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Perform accurate data entry and verification to ensure the integrity of claims documentation.
- Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, policyholders, and external partners to resolve claim-related inquiries.
- Analyze complex claims scenarios and provide sound recommendations for settlement or further investigation.
- Support the implementation of digital claims processing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of claims files to ensure adherence to compliance and quality standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on claims performance and identify trends to improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- Degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CMI, ANZIIF) are highly advantageous.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in insurance claims processing or a related administrative role.
- Strong understanding of local insurance regulations and policy coverage principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with insurance management systems.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly in English.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
