Responsibility
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operational support for Managing General Agents (MGAs) to ensure alignment with company policies.
- Conduct regular audits and technical reviews of MGA business portfolios to ensure prudent underwriting practices.
- Develop and implement operational workflows that drive efficiency and improve service delivery standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries, providing guidance and support on MSIG product frameworks and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Compliance, and Underwriting, to resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) regarding MGA business performance and technical adherence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline internal processes and enhance the partner experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in technical insurance operations, underwriting support, or MGA management.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore insurance regulations and market compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with core insurance administration systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical findings to management.
