Responsibility
- Credit Risk Assessment: Evaluate credit applications, financial statements, and collateral to determine creditworthiness and recommend approval/denial.
- Policy Development: Design, implement, and refine credit policies and procedures to align with company objectives and regulatory standards.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and analyze credit portfolios to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations, and prepare accurate credit reports for stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, finance, and legal teams to align credit strategies with business goals.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential credit risks and propose mitigation strategies to safeguard the companyâs assets.
- Customer Engagement: Provide expert credit advice to internal and external stakeholders, fostering trust and long-term relationships.
- Process Improvement: Streamline credit evaluation workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in credit evaluation, risk management, or financial analysis, preferably in the banking or automotive financing sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, credit scoring tools, and data analysis software (e.g., Excel, SQL, or Python).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
- Analytical Abilities: Exceptional numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and risk assessment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and mentor junior team members.
