Responsibility

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of regional and community eye care programs in collaboration with local and international partners.
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure seamless delivery of ophthalmic services, including screenings, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector stakeholders to expand eye care access.
  • Monitor program performance using data-driven metrics and adjust strategies to optimize outcomes and resource allocation.
  • Provide training and capacity-building support to local healthcare providers to enhance service quality and sustainability.
  • Oversee budget management, grant reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards for all clinical initiatives.
  • Represent SNEC at regional conferences, workshops, and advocacy events to promote eye health awareness.
  • Stay abreast of global best practices in ophthalmology and public health to inform program development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical services management, public health program coordination, or healthcare administration.
  • Proven track record in project management, including budgeting, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
  • Experience working in ophthalmology, eye care, or community health programs is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage multidisciplinary teams in a cross-cultural setting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality improvement frameworks.
  • Ability to travel regionally as required for program implementation and stakeholder meetings.
