Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain ESH policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular ESH audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of preventive measures.
- Provide ESH training and awareness programs for employees at all levels.
- Monitor and report on ESH performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate ESH considerations into project planning and execution.
- Stay updated on emerging ESH trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESH roles within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Certification in ESH (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of local and international ESH regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead ESH initiatives and drive cultural change.
- Experience in conducting ESH audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Proficiency in ESH management systems and reporting tools.
