Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize equipment performance, improve reliability, and enhance production efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and calibrations of equipment to maintain compliance with industry standards and Micronâs quality protocols.
- Document maintenance activities, equipment status, and repair logs using Micronâs digital tracking systems.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices for equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce equipment-related defects and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and environmental regulations while performing maintenance tasks in a cleanroom environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably within the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery, including robotic systems, vacuum systems, and precision tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment and familiarity with semiconductor fabrication processes (e.g., lithography, etching, deposition) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications in equipment maintenance (e.g., IPC, SEMI standards) or relevant technical training are highly desirable.
