Responsibility
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and calibration of semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements, equipment upgrades, and automation solutions to enhance production efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for all critical equipment.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on equipment operation, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and generate reports to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SEMI) and company safety regulations in all equipment-related activities.
- Support new equipment installations, qualifications, and validations to meet production demands.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Equipment Engineering Technician in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing complex semiconductor equipment (e.g., CVD, PVD, etch, lithography, or metrology tools).
- Strong knowledge of equipment automation, PLC programming, and data analysis tools (e.g., MES, SCADA).
- Experience with preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) strategies.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as SEMI S2/S8, ISO 9001, and OSHA safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
