Join M&J Supply Chain Services Sdn Bhd as a Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer in the vibrant and dynamic region of Bali, Indonesia. Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence and improve safety outcomes.
- Oversee waste management programs, ensuring proper disposal, recycling, and compliance with environmental laws.
- Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels to promote awareness and best practices.
- Liaise with China HQ and local authorities to align EHS policies, report on performance, and address regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational and strategic decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and present EHS metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain industries.
- Certifications such as OSHA, NEBOSH, or ISO 14001/45001 are highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international EHS regulations, including Indonesian and Chinese standards.
- Proven ability to develop and implement EHS programs, conduct audits, and manage compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train, influence, and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is advantageous for coordination with China HQ.
