Responsibility
- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of new development projects within the hospital.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for facility improvements.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
- Implement sustainable and energy-efficient solutions in facility design and operations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or engineering, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience in project management, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
- Certification in facilities management or related field is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
