Responsibility
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faulty printed circuit boards (PCBs) to the component level, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
- Perform rework and modifications on PCBs in accordance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct functional testing and validation of repaired PCBs to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Document repair processes, test results, and technical findings for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in the development and optimization of PCB repair and rework procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and tools to ensure accuracy and reliability in diagnostics.
- Provide technical support to production teams and contribute to training initiatives for junior technicians.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in PCBA repair, rework, or troubleshooting, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering equipment.
- Strong understanding of electronic components, circuit schematics, and PCB layouts.
- Familiarity with industry standards for PCB repair and rework (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
