Responsibility
- Assist the Project Manager in the planning, scheduling, and execution of industrial wastewater treatment plant projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, procurement specialists, and construction contractors, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and present regular project reports, including progress updates, budget tracking, and risk assessments, to stakeholders and senior management.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth project execution and obtain necessary approvals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff to enhance team capabilities and project outcomes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment plant projects, with at least 2 years in a project management or senior engineering role.
- Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and budget management using tools such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
- Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and technologies, including biological, chemical, and physical treatment methods.
- Familiarity with Indonesian environmental regulations and standards (e.g., Ministry of Environment and Forestry guidelines) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
