Responsibility
- Conduct detailed energy audits of HVAC systems in commercial, residential, and industrial buildings to assess performance and efficiency.
- Identify, analyze, and qualify energy-saving opportunities through data-driven assessments, including load calculations, system modeling, and lifecycle cost analysis.
- Develop and present customized energy efficiency recommendations, including retrofits, system upgrades, and renewable energy integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design sustainable HVAC solutions that meet client needs, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and verify the performance of implemented energy-saving measures using sub-metering, IoT sensors, and energy management systems.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting ROI, carbon reduction, and compliance benefits.
- Stay abreast of emerging HVAC technologies, green building certifications (LEED, Green Mark, etc.), and local/ international energy regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to clients and internal teams on best practices for energy-efficient HVAC operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in energy auditing, HVAC design, or sustainability consulting, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., EnergyPlus, IES VE, Carrier HAP) and HVAC simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards, ISO 50001, and local energy codes (e.g., Indonesian SNI for energy efficiency).
- Certifications such as CEM (Certified Energy Manager), LEED AP, or Green Mark Manager are highly advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
