Responsibility
- Design, install, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance with GMP, FDA, and local regulatory standards.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for E&I-related issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing plant performance.
- Collaborate with process engineers and automation teams to integrate new technologies and improve system efficiency.
- Develop and execute validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) for E&I systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical and instrumentation assets.
- Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, P&IDs, and SOPs, for E&I systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
- Participate in safety audits and ensure adherence to OSHA and local safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in E&I engineering within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical plant environment.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell).
- Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and ISO 9001/14001 standards.
- Experience with validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and motor control centers (MCCs).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
