Responsibility
- Lead the design and development of electrical and instrumentation systems for mining, industrial, and oil & gas projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD and other design software.
- Conduct system analysis and simulations using ETAP to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and instrumentation systems into overall project designs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
- Perform site visits and inspections to ensure the successful implementation of designed systems.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, manuals, and as-built drawings.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation design, with a focus on mining, industrial, or oil & gas projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and other relevant design and simulation software.
- Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation standards, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in leading and mentoring junior engineers and design teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
