Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize electrical power distribution systems for commercial, industrial, and renewable energy projects.
- Conduct load flow studies, short-circuit analysis, and transient stability assessments using industry-standard software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, DIgSILENT).
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEC, IEEE, PLN standards).
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate power systems with renewable energy sources (solar, wind, battery storage).
- Perform site inspections, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend corrective actions to enhance performance and reliability.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for project stakeholders and regulatory submissions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in power systems and smart grids.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power system engineering, with a focus on distribution, transmission, or renewable energy integration.
- Proficiency in power system analysis tools (ETAP, PSS/E, DIgSILENT, PSCAD) and AutoCAD/Revit for electrical design.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, PLN, SNI).
- Experience with renewable energy systems (solar PV, wind, battery storage) and grid interconnection requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions in Indonesia for project assignments.
