Responsibility
- Lead the preparation and review of E&I basic design documents, including schematics, layouts, and specifications.
- Oversee the development of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local and international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical and instrumentation systems into broader project designs.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed electrical solutions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure project deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
- Perform site inspections and troubleshoot electrical system issues during commissioning and operation phases.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance project efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation design, with a focus on industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar design software for electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of international electrical codes and standards (IEC, NEC, etc.).
- Proven experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for technical documentation and client interactions.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
