Responsibility
- Develop detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using CAD software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Review and interpret engineering designs to create accurate and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes and regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior drafters and team members.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss design requirements and project timelines.
- Maintain and organize drawing files and project documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, software, and best practices in electrical drafting.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical drafting, preferably in the engineering or renewable energy sector.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and industry standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sustainable energy practices and renewable energy systems is a plus.
