Responsibility
- Lead the complete design, layout, and development of electrical distribution systems, lighting layouts, and control schematics.
- Prepare precise load calculations, short-circuit analyses, voltage drop calculations, and equipment specifications.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level electrical designers, fostering professional growth and quality control.
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, architects, and stakeholders to align design objectives.
- Conduct thorough quality reviews of design packages to ensure compliance with client specifications and local/international standards.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed bill of materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
- Support project managers in defining project scopes, timelines, and technical requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering; a professional engineering license (REE) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in electrical design within commercial, industrial, or utility-scale sectors.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, or similar industry design and simulation tools.
- In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., PEC, NEC, IEC, NFPA).
- Demonstrated experience in a mentorship or leadership capacity within an engineering team.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, suited for global collaboration.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple deliverables in a remote setting.
