Responsibility
- Serve as the ultimate technical authority for all electrical engineering disciplines within EPC projects, ensuring adherence to international codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC) and client specifications.
- Lead the design, review, and approval of electrical systems, including power distribution, substations, control systems, and renewable energy integrations.
- Provide expert guidance to project teams on electrical safety, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies for high-voltage and low-voltage systems.
- Oversee procurement and vendor management for electrical equipment, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Develop and implement technical standards, procedures, and best practices to enhance project efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct feasibility studies, load flow analyses, and short-circuit calculations to optimize system performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical training to elevate team competencies in electrical engineering.
- Represent the company in client meetings, regulatory audits, and industry conferences as the subject-matter expert.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering; PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior/authority role for EPC projects.
- Proven expertise in high-voltage systems (up to 500kV), substation design, and power generation/distribution.
- Deep knowledge of international standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI) and local regulations (PLN, SKK Migas for Indonesia).
- Experience with ETAP, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software for electrical modeling and simulation.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to influence technical decisions and resolve complex challenges.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
