Responsibility
- Translate conceptual designs and sketches into detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
- Develop accurate 2D/3D models, elevations, sections, and site plans for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback, site conditions, and client specifications to maintain accuracy and quality.
- Prepare and organize drawing sets for permits, bids, and construction, ensuring compliance with local building codes and standards.
- Conduct material takeoffs and assist in cost estimation for project planning and budgeting.
- Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in architectural drafting and design.
- Mentor junior draftsmen and provide technical guidance to support team development.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience as a Draftsman, preferably in architecture or design-build firms.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of architectural standards, building codes, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce error-free, high-quality drawings.
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and 3D rendering is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) for remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks in a remote setting.
