Responsibility
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed technical drawings for construction, engineering, and architectural projects using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and convert them into precise, scalable drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, local regulations, and client specifications, including dimensions, materials, and annotations.
- Review and revise existing drawings to incorporate changes, corrections, or updates based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Prepare as-built drawings and documentation for project closeout and future reference.
- Organize and manage digital drawing files with version control to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Provide technical support to on-site teams by clarifying drawing details and resolving discrepancies.
- Stay updated on latest drafting technologies, software updates, and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in technical drafting, preferably in construction, engineering, or architectural sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), with experience in Revit, SketchUp, or SolidWorks considered a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and engineering principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce error-free, high-precision drawings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an advantage.
