Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed technical drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks).
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate drafts.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, local regulations, and project-specific requirements.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback, site conditions, or design changes to maintain project integrity.
- Conduct site visits and measurements to verify dimensions, resolve discrepancies, and ensure alignment with as-built conditions.
- Manage and organize drawing files, revisions, and documentation for easy retrieval and version control.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior drafters or interns, fostering a culture of precision and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with advancements in drafting technology, tools, and best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a drafter, preferably in construction, engineering, or architectural firms.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, symbols, and annotations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, error-free drawings under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience in the Southeast Asian market or international projects is advantageous.
