Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless and automated software delivery.
- Integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows, including vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and threat modeling.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to foster a DevSecOps culture and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability in cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to protect sensitive data and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment, security, and performance in production and non-production environments.
- Stay updated on emerging DevSecOps trends, tools, and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 2 years focused on security integration (DevSecOps).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with security tools like SonarQube, Trivy, Aqua Security, or Prisma Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Certifications such as Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) are a plus.
