Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the data centre, ensuring 99.99% uptime and adherence to SLAs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain robust ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, change, and capacity management.
- Monitor and optimize data centre performance, including power, cooling, and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient IT solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.) and local regulations.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in data centre operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, or other IT governance frameworks.
- Certifications such as CDCP, PMP, ITIL v4, or CISSP are highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with cloud integration (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid environments.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving technological landscapes.
