Responsibility
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms.
- Perform proactive troubleshooting and incident resolution to minimize downtime and ensure SLA compliance.
- Deploy, configure, and upgrade hardware/software components in alignment with business requirements.
- Implement and enforce IT security best practices, including access controls, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute infrastructure improvements and capacity planning.
- Document system configurations, operational procedures, and incident reports for knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in data center operations, IT infrastructure, or cloud engineering.
- Hands-on expertise with server hardware (Dell, HP, Cisco), storage systems (SAN/NAS), and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Proficiency in virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Server+, ITIL, or cloud provider certifications are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian/Malay is advantageous.
